Today is St. Patrick’s Day. Also, it’s the full moon, and a Hindu holiday called Holi. Here’s what Wikipedia says about Holi: “Holi is a spring festival also known as the festival of colors and the festival of love. It is primarily observed in India, Nepal, and other regions of the world with significant populations of Hindus or people of Indian origin. The festival has, in recent times, spread in parts of Europe and North America as a spring celebration of love, frolic and colors. Holi celebrations start with a Holika bonfire on the night before Holi where people gather, sing and dance. The next morning is a free for all carnival of colors, where everyone plays, chases and colors each other with dry powder and colored water, with some carrying water guns and colored water-filled balloons for their water fight. Anyone and everyone is fair game, friend or stranger, rich or poor, man or woman, children and elders. The frolic and fight with colors occurs in the open streets, open parks, outside temples and buildings. Groups carry drums and musical instruments, go from place to place, sing and dance. People move and visit family, friends and foes, first play with colors on each other, laugh and chit-chat, then share Holi delicacies, food and drinks. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair ruptured relationships. It is the festive day to end and rid oneself of past errors, end conflicts by meeting others, a day to forget and forgive. People pay or forgive debts, as well as deal anew with those in their lives. Holi also marks the start of Spring.”
Here’s the astrology report from Kathy Pagano: “FULL MOON is here bringing lots of illumination of what has been in the shadows. As we move toward the Equinox, we are reminded to find our balance and hold steady. Remember who you are, stay in your heart and find that place of stillness within so that you can move forward and greet what comes your way with calm and compassion~The Virgo Full Moon tells us, ‘You belong to yourself. As much as you are part of a whole, you are also a unique drop in the ocean of consciousness. What do you want to do with your drop? What does your drop want to do with you?’We are all here on Earth for the specific reason that’s encoded within our soul, just as our physical body is encoded by our DNA. Each of us has a destiny—each destiny is unique and yet part of the whole.Virgo is the sign of the Virgin, the one who knows, seeks self-knowledge, to know oneself, both light and shadows. Our Christian era has re-defined Virgin to only mean its physical sexual aspect; in ancient times, a virgin was a woman who belonged to no man, who was a woman in her own right. She belonged to herself! Each of us, man and woman, can reclaim our feminine virginal energy—we can belong to ourselves. On this Virgo Full Moon night, we can see who we’re meant to be if we’re willing to acknowledge who we really are.Virgo’s shadow can distort our need to know ourselves into the need to control things to attain the ideal of perfection—someone else’s idea of perfection! Virgo’s real purpose is to help us know and accept who we really are. Virgo’s analytical mind measures and aligns; Virgo’s magic understands how everything fits together to make it work. Virgo’s greatest gift is discernment, knowing this from that. This helps us master a talent, and understand how it can be of service to others…”
Here's the astrology report from Dipali Desai: “The Full Moon phase in astrology symbolizes illumination of whatever was hidden in the darkness or buried within the subconscious such as emotional pain or reaction and off-balance tendencies or habits. Once awareness happens you are able to make realistic changes and increase your emotional awareness. Take responsibility for how you feel and your reactions to things rather than projecting them onto others. You are not the victim, rather learn from the situation or mistake, forgive and move into love consciousness. With this Full Moon, the Sun is in the mystical dreamy sign of Pisces while opposing the Moon in the methodical sign of Virgo. This symbolizes the potential to harmonize the Spiritual and practical levels in daily life. Virgo’s potential is to be a living example of ethics and expression of high standards of excellence while being of service. Its interest is in the ultimate and optimal function of things with the utmost efficiency and effectiveness. There may be important insights that come to you during this time regarding emotional well-being and details around what habits need to be changed.”
The bonfire of Holi is to burn away negative energies. Since we can’t do a bonfire here, I thought it might be fun if we all came up and offered ourselves to the candles to cleanse any negativity that is ready to leave.
Part of the Holi holiday is about repairing relationships. As you listen to some music allow yourself to become aware of relationships in your life that need communication, completion, or repair of some sort. These may be situations that simply need forgiveness, others that need action to take place. As you think of each situation relax and receive Grace to support the repair work needed in that situation. No need to process it, or even figure out what needs to be done. The Grace will help you with all that later. For now, receive the healing on the inner.
We are celebrating the Spring Equinox tonight. This is the time when the length of daylight and length of darkness are the same. It is a time of awakening from Winter hibernation. And it's a time of balance. The changing of the seasons is a good time to do some physical cleansing, or to do some spring cleaning in your home. This will open up your energy for something new to awaken in you. Take a moment now to feel your heart’s desire to fully awaken to and express That which you truly are. Feel your sincerity to grow, and desire to let go of old habits. Ask the Masters and Angels now to help you with letting go of old habits, as we play some music. Feel each habit, or pattern, then just offer it to the Divine energies for them to handle for you. These habits have been with you for lifetimes, so it won’t be an overnight transformation, but a gradual and permanent shift into more positivity and self love.
OK, let's focus on balance in our lives. What is in balance for you, out of balance? Where would you like to bring in more balance in your life? As you play some music allow yourself to reflect on the phrase from the astrology report, “You belong to yourself.” What do you want to do with your life? What is your soul work? The planetary energies are aligned right now to support us in gaining insight into these aspects of our lives. As you reflect on this, allow the Masters to bring in your soul work and clarity for you around it. You may not experience anything while you are here in class, but the energy will integrate and during the week you will have some insights.
One of the things we can do to support our awakening is: "Do what you know to be right. Don't do what you know to be wrong." This especially applies to our inner guidance. Whether we recognize it or not, all of us get inner guidance. However, much of the time we don't follow it. It could be a feeling not to do something, or to do something. Or an intuition about not doing something but then we say, "Oh well, I'm going to do it anyway." How many of you have said that? Our guidance usually starts as a quiet whisper; a feeling or intuition. Some of us may hear that and respond, but others don’t listen at first because we may have doubt or resistance to it. Then the whisper becomes a shout, and we still don’t listen. Then the negative repercussions set in, which is what our Guidance was trying to help us avoid. Maybe we were told to stop eating sugar. We don’t listen and then we find out we have hypoglycemia. We still don’t listen and then we have diabetes. If we had listened, we could have handled things at the very beginning by stopping eating sugar! Now we have to pay the price of taking medication, managing it for the rest of our lives.
How many of you have heard the story of someone who is in a flood, and they climb to the roof of their house, praying wildly for Divine intervention. Someone comes along in a boat and says to get in, they say no, God will take care of them. Then a helicopter comes along to get them off the roof, and again they say no, God will take care of them. Eventually they drown. In Heaven they are talking to God, and they ask why their prayers weren't answered. God responds, I sent you a boat and a helicopter, what more do you want? As you play some music the Masters and Angels are going to work on your ability to hear and respond to your inner guidance. Often these are fears, doubt, and lack of self worth. Just relax and enjoy the music, be open and receptive to the energy work.
Play some music and relax, allowing there to be a clearing of the crown and 3rd eye chakras, so that you can get clear guidance. Just relax and let the Masters clear the energy for you.
Allow Archangel Michael and your guardian angels to take you on the inner planes up onto the Ascended Master spaceship above the Havurah. Jesus, Melchezidek, St. Germain, and Mother Mary, among others, are on the ship. Allow yourself to receive healing, ask any questions that you may have, receive support for your spiritual awakening from them. Know that the work is going on even if you don’t experience traveling. Just relax and receive energy.
